Recorded flights. Clearer expectations.
FlightSearch includes upcoming, departed and landed flights observed in the FAA feeds. Coverage is incomplete, and estimates, aircraft information or positions may be missing or stale. “Departed” confirms a reported takeoff; it does not prove the aircraft is still airborne. “Upcoming / unconfirmed” does not confirm that it is on the ground.
Estimated wheels up is the proposed runway departure time, not gate pushback, an assigned EDCT or a takeoff clearance. Scheduled wheels up is the stream’s original baseline, not a verified airline schedule. A later estimate does not establish an official ground delay. Check the report timestamp and confirm plans with the airline.
Searches and result openings are recorded anonymously for up to 30 days to improve matching. No IP address, account, or device identifier is stored. Airline-code aliases use the OpenFlights reference (download aliases, ODbL). They do not establish codeshare equivalence.
